This is a step by step guide to show psp owners how to load videos on thier Sony psp. Sony has made the psp capable of only playing videos on thier psp in a certain format. This guide will tell you where to get video for your psp, it will also show you how to convert them into the proper psp format then finally it will show you how to load them onto your psp so you can watch them. I have written the instruction very easy to follow so even the most novice psp user can enjoy all the benifits of watching movies or videos on thier psp.

When you buy a Sony PSP they don't tell you how
complicated it is to make it do the simple things like
loading a video. Well I'm here to help you do that.
This article will tell you everything you need to know
about making that psp do what it is you want it to do.

Things you will need:

> Sony PSP
> Usb cable that came with you PSP
> Computer, laptop or a Desktop as long as it has a usb connection.
> You will need a video converter or a video downloader.

Step 1: First you need to gather some videos that you want to put on your psp. An easy way to find amazing videos place to find these videos is to click on one of my psp links. Its fast and easy. A really good site I like to use is Thepiratebay.org. This site has just about anyhting you'll need. Before you can download any of these files you will need a simple program that downloads torrent files. There are many out there. A really good one that is free is UTorrent. All you have to do is download Utorrent and install it.  When it is installed you can then search on the website I mentioned earlier. find what you need and download it. This method is kinda tricky if you are looking for an all in one program that will find, download, convert them and install them in one step you can use this program PSPxStudio. If you decide to install this program then you won't need the instructions on this page but if you use a differnet method to get your video for your psp then read on.

Step 2: Now that you have the videos on your computer that you want to watch on your psp you will need a program to convert those videos to the right format that works on your Sony PSP. A good program to install on your computer is Video Piggy. This program does it all. If you decide to use a different program then you will need to follow the instructions given with that program and convert the video to Mp4 format.

Step 3: Okay your almost there, the next thing you have to do is take the usb cord that came with your psp and plug it into the top of you psp. There is only one hole it will fit in. Take the other end and put it into your usb connection on your computer. Like I said earlier it will fit into you lap top or desktop computer as long as you have a usb connection. Once you have connected your psp to your computer you need to go to the screen of your psp and you will notice the psp's screen has some menus on it. Now if you go all the way left on the psp menus you will notice the first one says usb connection on it. Just click on that one and it will connect you Sony psp to you computer, laptop or desktop which ever computer you have decided to connect to your Sony PSP. onto your computer, Coverted the videos to the correct Sony psp format which is Mp4, connected your video to your computer via usb. If you have done all this you are ready to put the on you psp.....finally.

Step 4: On your computer go to Start then MY COMPUTER then there should be a disk drive there that says REMOVABLE MEDIA click on that. Now you are on the PSP memory stick. Now you have to make sure there is a folder on you Sony psp memory card that is called VIDEO. So if there is not you need to create a new folder by right clicking on a blank spot on your psp memory card and clicking on NEW then FOLDER. Now label it VIDEO make sure it is in all caps or it won't work.

Last Step: The last step is to take the videos that you converted to Mp4 format and move them to the folder labeled VIDEO on your sony psp. There you are you now have videos on you Sony psp.
